Overview of Organization:

Leslieville-Riverdale Tree Project is a Neighbour talking to Neighbour Tree initiative advocating for the City of Toronto's free front-yard tree program.

Mandate:

Our core mission is to secure as many new planting locations for trees as is possible in order to catch up to the rapid loss of the tree canopy that is occurring due to its age.  We are a two year pilot project that has developed a replicable model for other likeminded groups to utilize. www.leslievilletreeproject.com

People Served:

We help homeowners, landlords, social housing organizations, co-operatives, faith buildings, public realm spaces, and community members.

Measuring Success
